Job Description

Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper for an established accounting firm in the Zebulon area. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks and capable of managing day-to-day accounting functions, including payroll processing, bookkeeping, and quarterly reporting. This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Perform bookkeeping and payroll processing for multiple clients
• Generate quarterly financial reports using QuickBooks
• Read and interpret income statements and balance sheets
• Assist with simple tax return preparation as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records in accordance with company policies

Requirements:

• Prior experience in bookkeeping and payroll required
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
• Ability to read and understand financial statements
• Experience preparing simple tax returns is a plus
• CPA not required, but professional accounting experience is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
