Expectations and Tasks: Analyze and solve issues in existing and new code. Provide application implementation services typically within the boundaries of specifications and project plans. Design activities include requirements analysis and design documentation. Implementation activities include implementation, testing, and integration. Maintenance activities include error analysis and removal. Extends, modifies or adapts existing designs but may also be involved in the development of new (sub-) systems. If acting as Scrum Master in the LEAN context, responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. Serve as 'servant-leader' for the Product Owner and the Development Team. Facilitate Scrum Events on request or as required. Coach the Development Team in self-organization. Remove impediments to the Development Team's progress. Education and Occupational Experience: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study. Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience: Experience must involve prior experience, internship or academic coursework in the following: + Java; + Distributed systems; + SQL and NoSQL Databases ; + AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, AliCloud or SAP Business Technology Platform; + Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Hashicorp Nomad, Consul, or Vault; and + Solve internet scale problems, scalability, and performance problems. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $172,931 - $198,600. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
