We're seeking a talented Director & Actuary to play a key role in supporting our variable annuity asset liability management strategy and valuation. You'll be at the forefront of actuarial and financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and big data analysis related to variable annuities and RILA products. What You'll Do:
Risk Management Leader: Support the hedging, risk management, and statutory valuation of variable annuities with living benefit riders (VA) and structured indexed annuities (SIA).
Agile Problem Solver: Be agile and versatile in solving risk management issues in real-time, using quantitative analysis tools and concepts.
Risk Factor Analyst: Identify and measure the impact of risk factors (actuarial, market, regulatory) on the hedge program.
Product Expert: Apply your deep knowledge of VA and RILA products and their modeling approaches to facilitate problem-solving and troubleshooting.
Regulatory Advocate: Stay informed about current statutory regulations for variable annuities and SIA (e.g., VM-21) and understand the impact of regulatory and reporting changes on capital and risk management.
ESG Champion: Support the implementation of the Stat ESG for company-wide statutory and capital reporting.
Technical Innovator: Utilize your advanced programming skills (Python strongly preferred, Matlab, VBA, SQL, C++, etc.) to develop and enhance analytical tools.
Collaborative Partner: Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including hedging and valuation teams.
What You'll Bring:
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), Fellowship preferred.
Strong computing and programming skills (Python strongly preferred, Matlab, VBA, SQL, C++, etc.).
Experience with PathWise is a plus.
Experience with big data analysis is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Ability to adapt to changing business priorities.

Competitive Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 base salary plus performance-based incentives.
