Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager II to lead and manage complex MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will bring advanced technical knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent client relationship skills to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage multi-disciplinary MEP projects, ensuring alignment with project scope, quality standards, schedule, and client expectations.
Provide technical oversight and guidance for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system designs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on large-scale projects, fostering strong and effective relationships.
Independently manage billing processes, conduct budget reviews, and monitor financial performance to ensure project profitability.
Mentor and delegate tasks to junior project managers, engineers, and drafters, promoting a collaborative and productive team environment.
Conduct comprehensive project closeout reviews to evaluate outcomes and implement best practices for future projects.
Oversee proposal development, scope definition, risk assessment, and contract negotiations.
Coordinate with internal design teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure cohesive MEP system integration.
3 5 years of project management experience in the MEP, construction, or engineering sectors.
Proven track record managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
Strong knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and MEP-specific regulations.
Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
Experience handling project billing, budget control, and financial forecasting independently.
Ability to lead, delegate, and mentor diverse technical teams.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with project management tools and software.
Skilled in reviewing and negotiating proposals, scopes of work, and contracts.
Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, bend occasionally, and lift up to 10 lbs.
Willingness to travel as required by project demands.
