Job Description

Kismet client, Tails of Hope, a non-profit spay/nueter clinic located in Hermitage, PA, is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Specialist (CSS) to join their team. The PT CSS will share responsibility for the overall professional operations of the Clinic office and car-side appointment-setting and admissions/discharges.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service above and beyond expectations to all clients in person, electronically, or on the phone
• Maintain complete and accurate records and logs of clinic patients, liaise with volume clients, and help with the successful engagement of Clinic volunteers
• Perform a variety of administrative tasks to ensure quality of service and flow of operations
• Support the administrative and medical team as needed
• Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and reputation of the organization
• ​​​​​All other duties, as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

• Approximately 20 hours a week
• Two or more years of customer service experience
• Two or more years of experience in a veterinary setting, i.e.clinic, hospital, animal shelter or control facility preferred
• Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Tech certification preferred
• Highly detailed and excellent multi-tasker with strong organizational skills
• Clean, clear, and legible communication, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced medical setting
• Employees shall be highly motivated, enthusiastic self-starters
• Flexible and ready for new challenges with a positive and professional attitude.
• Technical proficiency with Mac and PC platforms, as well as Microsoft Office, with ability to quickly become proficient with clinic software.
