Specializing in metal stamping, fabrication, assembly, and product design support, the company's customer base spans across the globe and includes some of the most recognized brands serving a broad variety of markets.Job HighlightsOperate press lines including presses, servo feeds, coil dereelers, and straightenersInspect and record part dimensions according to quality plans and customer specificationsTroubleshoot nonconforming parts to identify root causesUnload, package, and prepare finished parts for movementRemove scrap from press and maintain a clean work areaReport part counts and labor accurately and on timeCandidate ProfileStrong familiarity with power tools and hands-on mechanical projects like engines, robotics, or repairsMaintenance experience beyond custodial dutiesBasic computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeAttention to detail with solid math and reading aptitudeManufacturing coursework preferred; hands-on skills will be assessed before hiringAdditional InformationThis role is part of our Manufacturing Apprenticeship Accelerator program in partnership with Cook County.
