Position Summary:
USC Builds is seeking an experienced and motivated project manager to oversee a variety of construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you will ensure that our self-performing teams deliver quality work on time and within budget. This position is critical to driving the success of our projects and helping us maintain our reputation as a leader in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring that work is completed on schedule, within scope and meets our quality standards
  • Manage and coordinate field crews across self-performed trades, including drywall, framing, ceilings and finish carpentry
  • Collaborate with clients, architects and engineers to ensure project alignment and address any concerns
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and track progress to ensure on-time completion
  • Monitor project budgets, approve invoices and manage any change orders as needed
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Lead project meetings, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and provide regular progress updates to the leadership team.
  • Address project-related issues and conflicts with practical solutions to keep work on track. 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, particularly in self-performing subcontractor work
  • Strong knowledge of USC Builds' core trades, including drywall, framing, acoustical ceilings and finish carpentry
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations and commercial construction industry best practices
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and team members

Compensation:

  • Annual salary range: $75,000 - $95,000 (commensurate with experience)
