Supervisor Distribution Center **Monday-Friday 2PM-10PM, and Saturdays as needed** About the Role As a Supervisor, Distribution Center, you will support retail operations by managing the day-to-day execution of merchandise processing through the Fulfillment Network. What You’ll Do • Manage the workflow of several departments in conjunction with individual department supervisors • Develop and maintain accuracy standards to ensure unit inventory integrity • Align with business partners to resolve issues and ensure efficient service • Ensure dynamic staffing to meet company goals • Effectively manage staff to meet productivity and cost goals • Monitor safety and accident incident reports to reduce lost time and ensure performance best practices • Evaluate and track level of service and accuracy standards • Lead direct reports to achieve unit goals • Increase associate engagement by developing and communicating a clear vision • Maintain open communication, set clear objectives and remove barriers • Develop an effective staff through coaching and performance feedback • Follow all company, state, local and OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations to promote a safe work environment; promptly report any potential violations to the appropriate supervisor/manager • Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines, including those related to accuracy and productivity • Maintain regular and acceptable attendance as set by the company and comply with dress code requirements • Maintain a flexible work schedule and adhere to the requirement of working any designated shift and overtime as requested per business and operational needs. What Skills You Have Required • Prior experience managing teams in a distribution warehouse environment • Working knowledge of automated distribution and warehouse systems • Bachelor’s or advanced degree • Strong interpersonal communication skills • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems • Flexibility in hours to support multi-shift operations • Effective collaboration and teamwork skills • Adept multi-tasking abilities • Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs and cross-train in at least 2 departments Preferred • 1-2 years of experience with Operations and Operational Support Systems (WMS, WCS, LMS) • 1-2 years automated MHE and SQL experience • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work well under pressure and as a team for the achievement of customer satisfaction • Ability to work under general supervision and use knowledge and experience to provide quality support to the user community For other Kohl's jobs, click here here!
