DESCRIPTION

The AWS World Wide Public Sector Federal Delivery Organization is seeking a AWS Task Order Manager (ATOM) to support our DoD business. This pivotal role ensures contractual delivery and facilitates business growth by managing a portfolio of task orders for AWS cloud services to government customers.

Based in the Herndon, VA/Washington Metro Area (WMA), you will join a team of program management and technical business development professionals. Your primary focus will be on shaping, responding to, and executing Task Orders for Military Service and Combat Support agencies. You'll leverage your skills to incorporate technical requirements into commercial transactions, structure and close deals, and manage program activities in alignment with contract performance criteria. Success in this role requires a blend of information technology-centric project management, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills, coupled with strong business development and executive communication abilities.

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and obtain and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead post-award kickoff meetings and customer onboarding processes
• Manage financial aspects of task orders, including invoice reviews, funding level notifications, and financial reporting
• Oversee requirements and deliverables management, ensuring timely submission and documented acceptance
• Facilitate communication between customers and AWS stakeholders to review task order performance and execution
• Manage Government Furnished Property (GFP) for each task order as required
• Support contract closeout processes in collaboration with Business Contracts

• Participating in customer meetings to discuss task order execution and address any concerns
• Collaborating with the Customer Solutions Manager team on account setup and management tasks
• Analyzing customer spending patterns and preparing financial reports
• Coordinating with Business Contracts on Engineering Change Proposals or account transfers
• Reviewing and validating customer invoices
• Updating task order attributes and financial data in program management tools
