Job Description

Job Summary:


This full-time UX Designer role requires 5+ years of experience, ideally within the financial or enterprise software sector. The successful candidate will actively participate in design sessions, translate session outcomes into wireframes and prototypes, support usability testing, collaborate on ongoing projects, conduct UX research as needed, and ensure design outputs align with accessibility standards and brand guidelines. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with proficiency in Figma. The position is remote within Canada.

Location: Canada, Remote

Responsibilities:

- Actively participate in design sessions with stakeholders, developers, and fellow UX professionals.
- Provide real-time guidance during collaborative design activities.
- Translate group activities and session outcomes into wireframes and clickable prototypes.
- Support usability testing through prototype preparation, scenario development, and iteration.
- Collaborate with the UX team on ongoing projects.
- Conduct UX research activities (e.g., stakeholder interviews, heuristic evaluations).
- Ensure all outputs align with the design system, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines.
- Present design decisions and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- 5+ years of UX experience (financial or enterprise software preferred).
- Proficiency in Figma and other wireframing/prototyping tools.
- Strong facilitation and co-leading skills for design workshops.
- Experience with complex workflows and internal business tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+).

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Experience designing within or contributing to a design system.
- Experience conducting UX research, synthesizing insights, and presenting findings.
