Job Title: Freelance Language Data & Quality Reviewer (English) 
Location: Remote – U.S.-Based Candidates Only 
Now hiring for L1 and L2 experience levels: 

• L3 ($25-$31/hr): Experienced and specialized in quality review and data analysis tasks 

• L2 ($21–$23/hr): Candidates with demonstrated analytical and data review skills who can follow established processes and complete tasks with minimal supervision. 

• L1 ($16–$20/hr): Entry-level contributors with basic familiarity in language or data tasks, able to complete assignments under close guidance or as part of a training-based workflow.

Position Overview 

We are seeking U.S.-based candidates for a freelance, task-based role supporting an ongoing AI/ML project. This is ideal for individuals seeking supplemental income through flexible, remote work. 

Note: While the work is remote, tasks follow India Standard Time (IST) hours. Flexibility to be available during those hours is highly preferred. 

Mandatory Requirements 

• Must have full professional fluency in English, including strong written communication 

• Must reside in the United States 

• Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a working laptop or desktop 

• Must be comfortable with task-based, on-demand work, where assignments are released as available 

• Must be available to complete tasks during IST working hours (preferably starting around 8 AM IST) 

About the Role 
In this role, you will review and interpret datasets, support data quality, and provide feedback that helps improve AI systems. Tasks are distributed intermittently and are best suited for individuals who can manage flexible or irregular workflows. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Analyze and review language-based datasets for clarity, logic, and accuracy 

• Flag and correct data quality issues 

• Provide feedback to improve dataset integrity and usability 

• Support evaluation of AI tools through written analysis and insight 
  
  

Ideal Candidate Profile 

• Strong written English skills and attention to linguistic detail 

• Previous experience in data labeling, quality assurance, or content review is a plus 

• Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines 

• High attention to detail, with a proactive mindset 

• Tech-savvy with strong typing and computer skills 
  
  

Project Nature & Work Commitment 

• Freelance / Independent Contractor (1099) 

• Workload varies based on client needs: 0 to 20 hours per week 

• No guaranteed hours; tasks are offered on a first-come, first-served basis

Compensation

Onboarding & Compliance 

• Contractors will be onboarded through Deel.com 

• U.S. workers will be engaged as 1099 independent contractors and must complete a W-9 form 

• Onboarding must be completed promptly, including submission of required documentation 
  
  

Interview Process 

• Applications will be reviewed by a recruiter 

• Selected candidates will be invited to complete a response form 

• Final candidates may be invited for a brief virtual interview
